Main materials required for installation:
LED guardrail lights; Installation clips for guardrail lights, waterproof transformers (can also be used without waterproofing), LED guardrail light main controller, LED guardrail light sub controller, and if the customer has strict requirements, PVC wire sleeves must also be prepared. Auxiliary materials: male and female plugs, Category 5e Ethernet cables, two core power cords, self tapping screws, expansion screws, etc.
Installation steps for LED guardrail lights:
Step 1: First, install the LED guardrail light onto the wall: drill holes in the wall, install expansion screws, then install the LED guardrail light and lock it with self tapping screws; The distance between guardrail lights is determined according to customer requirements; Usually between 1CM and 3CM.
Step 2: Then connect the signal line and power line of the LED guardrail light. The signal line is usually a four core or five core male and female plug; The power cord is a two core male and female plug;
Step 3: Install the power supply (transformer or switch power supply); Calculate how many guardrail lights each transformer can carry based on the power of the transformer and the power of the guardrail lights; For example, the 108 LED rainbow guardrail light is 10W/M; The LED guardrail light with 144 lights is 12W/M; If a 400W waterproof transformer is used, it can be equipped with 108 lights and 36M tubes; The 144 light comes with a 32 M tube.
If the transformer can be equipped with 36M tubes; The transformer is placed between the 18th and 19th wires, with two wires connected on each side, each with 18 wires.
Note: 1. Transformers generally only use 80% to 90% of their power; 2. No matter how high the power of the transformer is, it is best not to connect more than 25M of pipes on each side because the power supply wires have power loss; The LED guardrail lights at the back have lower brightness;
Step 4: Installation of LED guardrail light controller; First, install the sub controller and directly connect it to the LED guardrail light; Signal to signal (five pin male and female plug), power to power (two pin male and female plug); Then connect the signals between the sub controller and the main controller. If the distance between the sub controller and the main controller is too far, a Category 5e Ethernet cable can be used to connect them, which will improve the signal quality; Each sub controller can only carry a fixed number of LED digital tubes, usually up to 100M; when making building profiles, each sub controller should have one channel; The specific situation depends on the LED effect diagram for installation (the manufacturer will help you calculate how many sub controllers you need, which path each sub controller should have, and usually there will be installation drawings). The sub control and main control are also connected by a super five wire network cable; The network cable has eight wires, which are connected to the network cable using male and female signal plugs, and now connected to the sub control; The signal lines between digital tubes in different circuits need to be disconnected.
Step 5: Power on, communication number. Connect all transformers to a 220V main power supply and use an air switch and time switch; Control the unified power supply of LED digital tubes (LED guardrail lights); Then plug the plug on the main controller into a 220V power supply.
Step 6: After the system debugging controller and LED digital tube (LED guardrail light) are powered on; There may be some programs that are not functioning properly or some that are not functioning properly; Remove the defective LED guardrail light and replace it with a backup tube until it operates normally. Note: 1. If the LED digital tube cannot run the program normally, confirm whether there is a problem with the signal line of this tube. Please replace the tube that cannot operate. If it returns to normal, confirm that it is the problem with this tube. If it does not work, you can try replacing the control panel. If the problem cannot be solved during installation, please contact the manufacturer. 2. Because LED guardrail lights are * products, there will always be some defective products, which may result in virtual soldering and leakage; Additionally, waterproofing treatment is a crucial factor, and it is recommended to ensure quality when selecting products; If there are defective products, they should be returned to the manufacturer for repair. 3. The installation of monochrome or internal control guardrail lights is relatively simple, just connect them directly to the corresponding power supply; Here we also need to mention the installation of internal control number LED guardrail lights: the installation of internal control number guardrail lights must be installed one by one in the order of the pipes; If not installed in order, there will be an overall asynchronous phenomenon in the end.
